27th April 1943
Passing through - This was the first of the River Camps. The river wound in and out of hills and dales with pretty mountains - a very beautiful sight was this peaceful river, fish jumping out of Its waters, canoes and Native barges moving and gliding along Its surface. However, I felt too sleepy and exhausted to enjoy it much - arid no money. It was indeed a lovely and most picturesque site.
